Successes:
-

-
Zebra Research
-
-
Started primary research - sent out a survey, interviewed a few people with retail experience in-person (not in stores yet though)
-
Sent survey on various social media platforms
-
-
Completed discovery research results deliverable
-
Completed project approach presentation
-
Also added on to it for our meeting with Zebra to explain the primary and secondary research we have done, as well as our next steps
-
Failures:
-
Having to extend our research longer than anticipated, especially for primary research
Difficulties:
-
Recruiting survey participants
-
We’re able to access individuals within our own demographic (18-22 y/o college students in the Boston area) however, it’s more difficult to come into contact with people beyond that circle
-
-
Planning how to conduct in person interviews
Goals for Next Week:
-
Finish primary research
-
Go into stores to research people
-
CVS, Walmart, Target, Wegmans
-
-
Define metrics for motivation and happiness
-
This will allow us to get quantitative evidence for the success of our solution in the future
-
-
Define personas and user journey maps
-
Using the research we conducted over the past few weeks, we will narrow the scope of our project by creating a user persona that we will design towards for the rest of the semester
-
We will also create a user journey map to illustrate the flow of our user and highlight key needs and features for our product
