Weekly Status Update #6
Week of March 13
Team Members: Sonia Mody, Talia Smith, Andres Antonio, Evan Zlotnick
Successes:
-
Completed customer journey map
-
Took information from our persona and their empathy map to create a journey map that accurately reflects a persona’s experience
-
Spent a long time understanding Luigi’s feelings as he goes through his workday
-
-
Started conceptualizing and planning how we are going to translate all our research (primary and secondary) into design
-
Looked over all of our research and summarized our findings
-
Translated these findings into preliminary ideas for a solution
-
-
Zebra gave us their Figma design files to use when we start creating our high-fidelity prototypes
Failures:
-
Having to spend more time planning our presentation for Zebra than expected
-
We thought about what information we wanted to review and how far in-depth to go with the customer map
-
We also took their feedback to try to include more of a story in our presentation and add depth to the content
-
Difficulties:
-
Planning our weekly meeting with Zebra
-
Half of the team’s spring break travel plans interfered with the weekly meeting time with Zebra, so we had to ask for a different time
-
All four team members spent a lot of time on the presentation
-
Goals for Next Week:
-
Complete creating the user feedback planning brief
-
Solidify how we want to receive feedback through what methods and how we want to store that information
-
Create design concept → complete initial design, wireframes, and workflows
-
-
Continue to experiment with low-fidelity designs before we start creating the high-fidelity designs in Figma
-
Zebra recommended different software for us to try
-
Attempt different methods of brainstorming (Crazy 8s, How might we..., etc.)
-
